Fuzhou Cuisine Stamp Series

As a designer with a personal connection to Fuzhou cuisine, I wanted to create a series of stamp designs that showcase some of the dishes that I grew up enjoying. While it can be difficult to distinguish Fuzhou cuisine within the larger context of Asian cuisine, I chose to focus on a range of dishes including a noodle soup, breakfast options, a side dish, and a dessert. The first stamp sketch was for a noodle soup, although I ultimately decided not to include a final illustration of this dish in the series. Instead, I focused on creating illustrations for a range of other food options that represent the diversity and flavor of Fuzhou cuisine.
